Once upon a time there was a country where there were millions and millions of people who were crazy about game called KirrrKet…this craziness was built by media, glamour, priority from politicians, movies and attaching lot of patriotism to this one game…infact people accepted a movie that showed that they got freedom by playing KirrrKet against world’s ruthless rulers called brits..
Once in one tournament their team was winning all matches…people were liking it like anything...organizers had taken every care to ensure that every match of this country scheduled on weekly holiday…countries where these matches were organized, their economy started improving as so many people were travelling there to watch matches...airlines, hotels, tourist places, shopping malls made big money...
lot of media reported that betting was in full swing in the country…lot of people told that bookies are telling with guarantee that this country’s team is going in finals…events were happening as per plan…all media channels were covering news of this game for hours…huge euphoria was created around this team’s performance…all players were playing their best…this team reached semifinals…with every match, money put on this team went on increasing…for semifinals it was at peak…billions of dollars were put on this country…even bookies joined the race and they also put their money as everything was happening as told to them…many people who do not have even half day for their parents took complete leave from their work to watch match…
but on the day of match, big sharks suddenly changed status quo… all players looked disarrayed…ballers started balling anywhere…strange fielding was set...opposition made huge total…when this team’s players came for batting they had task of achieving target in limited balls…many of them played very slow and ensured that target becomes difficult to achieve…infact they stopped fighting long before…even their captain gave up very early, played very slowly and got out in very strange way…they spoiled everything in such a way but it became very blatant…finally they lost the match…that gave big jolt to all those who had put so much money on this team…all these people including their bookies lost everything…big sharks made billions of dollars…
Suddenly all the so called analyst on all channels, instead of criticizing them, started beating the drum that they played very well in tournament…everything got covered up in nice way…innocent people whose hearts were broken washed their faces and with renewed energy and patriotism got ready for next tournament….
